This first piece is special to us and close to our hearts. We hope it finds a new forever home, to stay with a family for as many years as it has ours. This large scale, French, carved oak, Renaissance style mirror, from the first quarter of the 20c hung on my dear late Grandparents landing for half a century. The ornate acanthus detailing will be forever etched in my memory. Unfortunately none of the family can accommodate the scale of it in their homes, so we are selling it on behalf of the estate. It is superb quality with a bevelled plate and stands:
