Rare, hand carved mahogany, cathedral bird cage, attributed to Maitland Smith. Stunning quality.
Porticoed temple with wired spires. All sitting on a square table with elegantly tapered legs, a carved apron and a lower decorative finial. Although this piece has only ever been used for decoration, there is a slide-out drawer if purchased for its intended use.
Cage does detach from table.
