Rare shaped, large scale Foundry Pots, also known as Crucibles, these are usually found in the slimmer, smaller version.
Used for casting, these would have been filled with smelting metal. The combination of the heat and different metals deposit amazing colours and textures, both inside and outside of the pot.
These have been used outside as planters and have bountiful amounts of moss still attached.
Solid and heavy !!!!
