19c cobbler's bench

Tri-legged, 19c cobblers bench.
The cobbler or shoe maker, would have sat at the rounded end, holding the shoe still between his knees at the narrowed part of the bench.
The three legs are strong and are decorated with engraved rings. Tools and materials would be organised between the three end compartments.
With only a slight incline (46-50cm height end to end) this would make a very unusual side or coffee table, or indeed hallway/telephone bench.
